1991 - Won 1st Prize Hsiungshih Prize for Fine Arts
Yang Maolins works have been shown in numerous exhibitions, including
his first solo exhibition at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. In 1990, he
participated in the Taiwan Art Museum exhibition 300 years of Taiwan
Art ; and in 1995 his works were included in the Exhibition
of Modern Taiwanese Art in Rome. Yang Maolin's works represent
a segment of Taiwanese History, building up juxtapositions of time and
space through its critical and even subversive view of Taiwan's historical
events
